CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY
Framesi has always been synonymous with responsibility and innovation.
Today, this commitment also means fully embracing ESG principles, paving the way for a future where growth and sustainability go hand in hand.

ENVIRONMENTAL AREA

  • Reduction of resource consumption: Implementation of water-saving technologies and other measures, such as the introduction of laser markers to reduce plastic usage, to minimize environmental impact.
  • Use of recycled and recyclable materials: Priority is given to recycled materials for both packaging development and support materials (e.g., folders, cases, and boxes made of FSC-certified paper), with the goal of promoting a circular economy. Examples include the Morphosis treatment line, which uses PCR, and the Framcolor Glamour hair color line, which, with its 2025 relaunch, will feature packaging made from ≥95% recycled aluminum, estimated to save 11,500 kg of virgin aluminum annually—enough to produce 1,200,000 tubes.
  • Locally sourced raw materials: Preference for raw materials from local suppliers.
  • Continuous process analysis and innovation: Optimization of energy consumption, plastic materials, and reduction of production waste.
  • Preference for suppliers with shared environmental sustainability goals: Collaboration with partners who share a commitment to environmental protection.
  • Sustainability Report: Launch of activities to draft the sustainability report based on VSME reporting system (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs).
  • ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management System Certification: Introduction of necessary processes to obtain the certification.

SOCIAL AREA

  • Support for the local community: Investments in social and educational projects, such as the Guaranteed Mobility project and collaboration with Poli Estetico.
  • Promotion of charitable initiatives: Participation in initiatives like “La Forza e il Sorriso” and “Beauty Gives Back.”
  • Protection of employee health and well-being: Implementation of policies and programs to support employee welfare.
  • Promotion of an inclusive work environment: Introduction of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster an open and respectful workplace.
  • Active participation in “Cosmetica Italia”: Collaboration with the industry association to define sustainability standards and policies at the sector and national levels.

  • Ethical, transparent, and responsible conduct: Implementation of internal (internal audit) and external (financial auditing) control functions to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial and sustainability information.
